We have owned Sunrise apartment for 5 years now and have spent many lovely holidays here so much of what you will read is first hand.

Sunrise apartment is located in Didim, the original part of the Altinkum resort and where most of the locals and British residents now live. It is perfectly located in a quiet area within a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in the old town of Didim. A 20-25 min walk or a short Dolmus ride will take you to the more livelier area at Altinkum beach and Dolphin Square.

Altinkum is a relatively new Turkish resort and although it caters for tourists it remains largely unspoilt. There are 3 gorgeous beaches, a small harbour area, and a spectacular new marina past the third beach. The Aegean Sea is warm and clear with numerous water sports available at the main beach for that extra bit of fun.

Altinkum is a friendly resort and you will find the locals 'laid back' and relaxed in their attitude towards tourists. You will get to know them quickly and they will enjoy nothing better than chatting over a glass of Turkey's famous apple tea. Don't be surprised if you return year after year to visit your new found friends! Didim is shaped as a peninsula surrounding Mugla on the east coast with a huge inlet of Akbuk town, Aegean Sea on the west and east coast, Lake Bafa and the Menderes River on the northern coast. 106 km's to Aydin provenience, 53 km' to Söke town, 73 km's to Kusadasi, 110 km's to Bodrum. Spread to 300 km2. of area.
